WHO- Viet Nam - leading the way in the treatment of tuberculosis

video 1Recent years have seen tremendous progress in the fight against TB, with over 37 million lives saved, but much more needs to be done. TB affects thousands of people,  and kills nearly 5000 people every year in Viet Nam. To End TB in Viet Nam, the World Health Organization is working with the National TB Programme to diagnose and treat people with TB and drug Resistant TB in communities across Viet Nam. This video tells the story of Mr Ngo Ngoc Tanh, a cured TB and drug resistant TB patient.
